Aidan Harris, Bathroom and Lift Installation

Aidan, a client with mobility challenges, faced difficulties accessing the bathroom and managing daily tasks due to limited movement between floors. To enhance his independence and ensure a comfortable home environment, Innova Care Concepts was tasked with providing bespoke fitted equipment.

The challenge was to facilitate Aidan’s rehabilitation at home while maintaining the home’s aesthetic. This required a full bathroom fit-out and a custom through-floor lift, all within a £40,000 budget. We conducted several assessments and home visits to tailor a solution that met Aidan’s specific needs.

Our solution included installing a wash/dry toilet, a height-adjustable sink, a shower chair, and a body dryer, alongside a custom-designed through-floor lift featuring a fairy-tale inspired interior. This bespoke setup not only improved Aidan’s accessibility but also blended seamlessly with his family home, enhancing both functionality and comfort.
