We at Middlesbrough Football Club made the decision to install a changing places facility in our stadium. We carried out research to enable us to provide the best facility we could. We needed to install a hoist and decided to install an X-Y ceiling hoist supplied and fitted by Innova. To prove we had provided a facility that worked for our fans, we invited several families all with different needs to try the facility and give us feedback. I must say they were all very impressed with the equipment and the service provided. We chose Innova for some of our major furniture requirements because we were impressed with their attentiveness and their willingness to try and help find solutions for us. We were able to have samples of furniture on loan and see how they worked for us with our patient group and this helped us to order with confidence. I think it is really useful to start having some discussions early, although at first it seems as though you have months to think about your requirements the time quickly ebbs away and it is good to start to build the shape and look that you want to achieve. The Percy Hedley Foundation engaged Innova to develop an innovative and fit for purpose hoist solution for the extension of our existing facility, Percy Hedley Achievement Campus at Killingworth; creating a 26 Bed Children’s Home with ancillary facilities and an adjacent Hydrotherapy Pool. The team at Innova worked with us from concept design to the successful completion of the project. During the process the team demonstrated a high of level of professionalism, creativity and forward thinking while remaining sensitive to our needs as the client.
