The Challenge
St Peter’s Hospice in Bristol aimed to enhance its accessibility, comfort, and overall care provision as part of a major refurbishment project. The hospice required specialist healthcare equipment to improve patient mobility, dignity, and comfort while maintaining a calm and homely aesthetic.
Approach
Innova Care Concepts partnered with KKE Architects and the hospice team to identify and supply the most suitable equipment for their needs. By working closely with all stakeholders, Innova ensured that the solutions provided would seamlessly integrate into the care environment.
Implementation
Innova supplied and installed AirRise 200 hoist units on inset tracking systems throughout the hospice. This discreet and efficient solution enabled smooth and safe patient transfers while preserving the homely atmosphere. Additionally, Innova provided Arene rise & recline chairs to offer patients greater independence and comfort. To support daily care needs, Innova also supplied shower commode chairs, overbed tables, and slings, ensuring the hospice was fully equipped with practical, high-quality solutions for both patients and staff.
Results
The refurbishment project successfully created a functional and welcoming space that prioritises dignity, safety, and ease of care. The collaboration between Innova, KKE Architects, and the hospice team resulted in a care environment that meets the highest standards of accessibility and comfort.
